Over the past time, the Veterans Association at all levels in Ba Vi district has directed the grassroots associations to strictly observe the regulations on social distancing, the 5K message + Vaccines. The District Veterans Association in collaboration with the District Culture, Information and Sports Center wrote many news and propaganda articles on the district radio about the prevention and control of the COVID-19 pandemic. Propaganda tasks are closely followed in the timely direction of the district’s COVID-19 prevention and control headquarters.

With the motto “Every veteran is a propagandist”, not afraid of difficulties and suffering, officers of the Veterans Associations of communes, towns, village associations and neighborhood groups have actively propagated prevention and control to members and their children. In addition, veteran members also participate in mobile propaganda teams, “going every alley, knocking door-to-door” to propagate to the People about the dangers of the COVID-19 pandemic once every two days, Directive 17, Dispatch 18 by the Hanoi People’s Committee on social distancing; propagate 16 levels of punishment of the city when violating pandemic prevention and control.
Doing a good role in the pandemic prevention and control must include the Veterans Association of Minh Chau commune. As an island commune of Ba Vi district, the Veterans Association of Minh Chau commune determines that pandemic prevention and control is very important. The association appoints 21 members of the commune to join the control force to strive to promote Minh Chau as always the “Green Zone” of Ba Vi district and Hanoi city. In this island commune, there is a checkpoint to control the pandemic to neighboring communes including Ly Nhan, Phu Thinh, An Tuong in Vinh Tuong district, Vinh Phuc province. Therefore, veteran members and key forces always actively coordinate with their communes to control travel and trade between the two sides, ensuring compliance with regulations on pandemic prevention and control, and safety for the commune’s people.
The COVID-19 pandemic is forecasted to be complicated and unpredictable, and the prevention and control work is still arduous. However, with the bravery and iron heart of Uncle Ho’s soldiers, the veterans of Ba Vi district are ready to contribute and join the Party committee and local government in the prevention and control of pandemic and health protection for the People.
