Hanoi People’s Committee just issued Plan No. 239/KH-UBND on September 7, 2022 for organizing activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Victory “Hanoi – Dien Bien Phu in the air” (18/12/1972 – 18/12/2022).

The city has organized visual propaganda and propaganda activities on streets, in central areas of districts, towns, offices of agencies, units, densely populated places, public areas in the city and deployed lighting decoration funded by community on certain downtown streets, etc.

For this anniversary, the city has visited the typical veterans, army officers, police officers, certain military units stationed in the capital area and organized activities “Đền ơn đáp nghĩa” to support and help families under preferential treatment policy, families with meritorious services, especially families and individuals who directly participated in the 12 day-and-night campaign in December 1972.
City has embellished and repaired to preserve and promote the value of the B52 victory historical relics, B52 victory museum, Monument on Kham Thien street and other related relics. The city has organized a contest to learn about the victory “Hanoi – Dien Bien Phu in the air” among pupils, students, team members, union members, young people, officers and soldiers of the Capital’s armed forces.

The City People’s Committee has organized the city-level incense offering ceremony at the Monument on Kham Thien street (Dong Da district), and prepared the script and organized the city-level 50th anniversary of the victory “Hanoi – Dien Bien Phu in the air”.
