After 4 years of implementing Directive No. 05, the Women’s Union at all levels in the district has accelerated the propaganda and implementation of Directive No. 05 with many practical forms such as organizing the forum “Happy Women Happy Family”; showing the good examples of typical collectives and individuals who study and follow Uncle Ho’s words; combining the implementation of Directive No. 05 with each specific task of the Union; promoting the participation in emulation movements “Women study actively, work creatively, build happy family”; and effectively following the campaign “Building family with 5 No and 3 cleanliness”…
In celebrating the 130th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s birth and launching an emulation movement to prepare for the Party Congress at all levels, towards the 21st Party Congress of Ha Dong District, 17th Party Congress of Hanoi City, and the 13th National Congress of the Party, the Women’s Union of the District effectively organized many activities: Encouraging members to keep saving pigs; holding program of examination and medicine distribution without charge; building charity houses for the poor in the district. In particular, due to the influence of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Women’s Union at district and grassroots level has actively propagated the pandemic prevention and control measures; granted 4,530 face shields, 61,720 medical masks, 110 medical suits, 2,053 gift portions for the poor households in the area; built 11 stations for giving gifts; installed 6 field hand washing stations, and performed many other practical jobs with a total value of more than VND 2 billion, and mobilized 458 landowners and 392 store owners to exempt or reduce rent for March and April for those in difficult circumstances.
Typical teams and individuals who study and follow Uncle Ho’s words are awarded certificates of merit.
On this occasion, the Women’s Union of Ha Dong district praised and rewarded 47 teams and individuals having excellent achievements in Covid-19 pandemic prevention and control, and 44 teams and individuals having excellent achievements in plastic waste discharge prevention movement and emulation movement “Women study and follow Uncle Ho’s words”.
