Towards the 91st anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 – July 28, 2020), practically celebrating the XXIV district’s Party Congress, term 2020-2025, the Federation of Labor coordinated with the Center for Culture, Information and Sports of Hoai Duc district to organize the Culture – Sports Festival for employees in 2020.
This year’s Culture – Sports Festival has the participation of more than 1,000 athletes from the grassroots trade union; Athletes competed in 3 subjects: Bag jumping, Badminton and Folk Dance. In Badminton, there are 8 age groups; Bag jumping with the form of relay competition for men and women; Folk dance, each team of 30 or more people can participate in 1 repertoire or build into a program of folk dance, puzzle, word puzzle with the theme of praising the Party, the beloved Uncle Ho, the worker, the love of the countryside and country, working-class, Vietnam Trade Union, etc. The Organizing Committee awarded the First Prize of the whole delegation to Van Con commune, the Second prize to the Vetvaco National Veterinary Joint Stock Company and the Third prize for An Khanh commune.
The festival is organized to enhance solidarity, attachment and improve the cultural and spiritual life for the employees; create a driving force to promote emulation movements, strive to well fulfill socio-economic development tasks in the district.
