The contest is organized for authors and groups of professional and amateur authors living, studying and working in Hanoi; collaborators of the Center for Culture – Information and Sports of districts, towns; Members of the Photography Club of the City Cultural Center.
Each photo, set of photos, is a story that captures beautiful and true moments in everyday life, praises the important role of women in the family; the role of wife, mother, care and sharing with family members… These are also images of the beauty of the spirit of enthusiasm in labor, creativity in work, study, social activities, environmental protection, love of nature. The image praises the diligence and silent dedication of women, exuding the vitality of women; especially the images honoring modern, confident and dynamic young women who always preserve and promote the traditional values of Vietnamese women.
Entries included two categories of single and set photos, photojournalism. For single photo entries, each author can enter from 01 to 10 single photos, each photo is a work, with captions. (the organizer does not accept grading single images in the category of photo series or photojournalism submitted by the same author.) For works submitted to the category of photo series, photojournalism, each set of photos and photojournalism consisting of 7 to 10 photos is counted as one work (attached to the market). Authors are responsible for the copyright of their works.
Entries in color or black and white photos are sent as digital files in JPG format, each image file size is from 3MB to 12MB (scanned or captured files from paper are not accepted). Entries can be taken with a mobile phone, professional camera, or digital camera. The resolution quality of the photo is 300DPi. Photos must not be bordered, must not put any identification on the image, do not write captions and signatures on the image.
The prize structure for the single photo and the photo series and photojournalism category includes Special, First, Second, Third and Consolation prizes for quality works at the Competition.
Time to receive entries from the launch date to the end of September 10, 2021 by email: tochucsukienttvh@gmail.com or by post at the address: Service Sales and Events Department – Trung Cultural Center of Hanoi City, No. 7, Phung Hung, Ha Dong District, Hanoi City. The awarding and closing ceremony of the contest is expected to be held on the 91st anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Women’s Union on October 20, 2021.
