In the context that many localities across the country are implementing social distancing according to Directive No. 16/CT-TTg by the Prime Minister, art programs are conducted such as “Immortal stars”, “Sharing love, overcoming the pandemic” broadcast on television and livestream on digital platforms initially brought positive effects, energizing the entire people and the forces on duty to prevent fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.

For that reason, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism built a series of art programs to improve people’s spiritual life in the context of complicated developments of the Covid-19 pandemic; aroused and promoted the fine traditional cultural values of the Vietnamese nation, together overcome the pandemic; aroused the fire of passion, enthusiasm and creativity of artists to create new works on the topic of prevention and control of the Covid-19 pandemic, spreading in the community profound messages of love for the homeland, the country, the people of Vietnam.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism assigns the Performing Arts Department to assume the prime responsibility for, and coordinate with related units in, establish a group of prestigious and socially influential artists in art units to develop video clips, compose songs, and stage skits to propagate the views and lines of the Party, the direction of the Government, the achieved results and orientations for the prevention and control of the Covid-19 pandemic in the coming time on the mass media and social networks, creating the spread of messages, examples of good people, good deeds, solidarity, sharing love in the process of pandemic prevention and control. The Ministry also organizes the creation of media publications (songs, short plays, pictures, pictures, etc.) related to the prevention and control of the Covid-19 pandemic to propagate.

In particular, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism directs the Performing Arts Department to preside over the development of a number of unique art performance programs to broadcast on television and digital platforms to serve the people. According to the plan, it is expected that there will be a number of art programs: “ Colors of Brocade” (Viet Bac Folk Music and Dance Theater); “The Miserables – Things to Say”, “Swan Lake – Behind the Velvet Curtain” (Vietnam National Opera and Ballet Theatre); dramatic excerpts (Vietnam Drama Theater); “Loyal Officials” (Vietnam Tuong Theater); “Melody of the Fatherland” (Vietnam Cheo Theatre); “Vietnamese Melodies” (Vietnamese Music and Dance Theater), “Underground Storm” (Vietnamese Cai Luong Theater), etc. will be recorded and broadcast on Vietnam Television Station, People’s Television, VOV Television, Hai Phong Radio and Television, etc. in the coming time.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism also asked the provinces/cities directly under the Central Government to direct the Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism/ Departments of Culture and Sports/ Departments of Culture, Information, Sports, and Tourism to assume the prime responsibility for, and coordinate with related units in, organizing cultural and artistic activities to serve the people’s spiritual life, in accordance with the reality of COVID-19 pandemic prevention and control in Vietnam according to the instructions of the Central Propaganda Department.
