In which, the model of “Civilized Women’s Union in marriage and mourning” is maintained and promoted effectively. Union branches have mobilized to deploy and increase the total number of “Civilized Women’s Union in marriage and mourning” union branch to 137 branches in the whole district. Particularly in 2021, the union branches mobilized 716 weddings, 1,024 funerals (595 cremations), 692 longevity celebrations of the families of cadres and members to implement the civilized lifestyle. During the complicated development of Covid-19, the union branches mobilized 233 families to postpone wedding ceremony, 380 families to organize wedding annoucement.

In addition, Women’s Unions from the district to the grassroots has propagated and mobilized members, women and people to build a spacious rural appearance and improve life quality. Accordingly, Women’s Union has mobilized families of officials and members to support 291,490,000 VND to build the village gates, donate 2,587m2 of land, clean 625m of drainage culverts and contribute 353 working days; mobilize 24 households to receive support money related to Dam Long tourist area; participate in site clearance campaign for 3km inland road concrete projects; participate in clearing violation of enclosing walls encroaching on road corridors, implement the model residential area project …
In order to build and protect living environment, Ba Vi District Women’s Union has also established a new women’s group “Turn trash into money”; Maintain and promote the effectiveness of 16 anti-plastic waste models: the group “Women use plastic bags to go to the market”, the group “Women turn trash into money” has collected 11,268,000 VND to raise funds for poor women; 31/31 union branches has undertaken 415 women’s self-managed roads. With the “Clean field” model, Women’s Unions of the district and grassroots has launched 4 times of general cleaning, collecting 6,852kg of agricultural waste, bottles, and pesticide packaging, contributing to reducing the field pollution.
