Over the past 2 years, the complicated situation of COVID-19 has seriously affected all aspects of the people’s socio-economic and daily life. However, with the close leadership and direction of the District Party Committee, People’s Committee, with a high sense of responsibility, the Steering Committee of the Movement “All people unite to build cultural life” and family work in Phu Xuyen have proactively developed implementation plan for staff to grasp timely and conduct effectively, advise on the guideline deployment to improve cultural model quality, thereby promoting the Movement “All People unite to build cultural life” to become more and more practical and achieve many positive results.
The emulation movements of Phu Xuyen District are increasingly incisive, creating an exciting atmosphere, changing awareness and actions of all people classes. Political security, social order and safety is stable. Especially, the COVID-19 control and prevention is drastically directed through propaganda; effectively implemented the election of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the term 2021-2026 successfully in all aspects…, thereby improving quality and efficiency of the Movement “All people unite to build cultural life” of the district.

In 2021, Phu Xuyen completely implemented 5 contents of the movement; especially the solidarity, helping each other to eliminate hunger and reduce poverty. Towns and communes focused on directing, propagating and mobilizing people to apply scientific and technical progress on production, and conduct structural change of crops and livestock. Last year, the per capita income of the district reached 55 million VND/person/year; the poor households rate decreased to less than 0.36%.
By the end of 2021, Phu Xuyen had 59,278/61,228 households recognized cultural family (96.8%); 152/154 villages, residential areas and clusters were eligible to be evaluated Cultural title; 21/25 communes met the new rural standards, Phu Minh town maintained the title of “Town meets urban civilization standards”. Along with building cultural family, cultural village, the implementation of civilized lifestyle in weddings, funerals and festivals is organized simple and easily, in accordance with actual situation, ensuring prevention of Covid-19. The District also concerns investment in cultural and sports institutions. Last year, Phu Xuyen constructed 20 community houses, with a total cost of over 50 billion VND, achiving 100% of villages and residential clusters owning community houses.
In 2021, Phu Xuyen also got many achievements in the cultural and artistic work, information, propaganda and visual promotion: Nearly 5,000 articles were broadcast on the district radio system; set up 7 suburban pages; produced over 50 audio files to propagate Covid-19 epidemic prevention; developed 6 documentaries about key tasks of the district and sectors, etc.

In this year, Phu Xuyen instructs towns and communes to consolidate the Steering Committee of the movement “All people unite to build cultural life”. In addition, all levels of Party Committee, authorities, Fatherland Front and associations will further strengthen the information and propaganda work, mobilize officials, union members, and people to well execute contents of the movement.
