The electronic ticket system will be put into operation from May 13th
Accordingly, starting from May 13th, 2022, the electronic ticket system and digital conversion products such as Smart Travel Card will be put into operation to serve tourists. This is an effort of the Cultural and Scientific Activities Center of The Temple of Literature – Quoc Tu Giam to promote the application of technology and digital transformation to create attractive new products and enhance the experience of tourists.
Speaking at the launching ceremony, Director of the Center for Cultural and Scientific Activities of the Temple of Literature, Mr. Le Xuan Kieu affirmed: The implementation of the electronic ticket system and digital transformation products in tourism is the Center’s determination to transform ticket management and visitor service. This product will change the way of serving visitors, instead of having to go to the queue to buy paper tickets directly, there will be more options such as buying tickets online on the website, buying tickets at automatic ticket counters and buying tickets at counter in the form of a Smart Travel Card. With a variety of choices, it will help to serve visitors more effectively, especially for travel agencies and large groups of tourists, and create a modern and civilized image at the important relic site of Hanoi capital and the whole country.

Mr. Nguyen Le Phuc – Deputy Director General of Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) also said: The implementation of electronic ticket system and digital transformation in tourism activities of the Cultural and Scientific Activities Center of the Temple of Literature are important activities to welcome the 31st Southeast Asian Games held in Vietnam. According to Mr. Nguyen Le Phuc, the 31st SEA Games held in Vietnam is a great opportunity to promote, stimulate and deploy tourism activities in Vietnam. The implementation of the electronic ticket system and digital transformation products is a practical activity and an urgent issue, especially with the defined policy of living with the epidemic. “The National Administration of Tourism has also built a smart ecosystem, and one of its goals is to support the digitization of tourist destinations, which, in addition to the application of virtual reality technology, augmented reality, include the deployment of the electronic ticket system, not using cash is an important target”- Mr. Nguyen Le Phuc added. The outstanding advantage of the electronic ticket system is to help visitors buy tickets online easily, once at the Temple of Literature, the visitors just need to scan the QR code to go through the ticket gate, and that will bring convenience for visitors. Besides, with the electronic ticket system, visitors can also book tickets in advance, buy tickets for large groups of tourists, easily look up ticket purchase history, use history, look up invoices and store tickets in many flexible forms to avoid losing tickets.

Also on this occasion, visitors will experience non-cash payment transactions for goods and services using Smart Travel Cards.This is a product in the smart tourism ecosystem that integrates many features such as Napas, Internet banking, electronic payment, look up tourist information or receive incentives, accumulate points when shopping …Moreover, the Smart Travel Card is also linked and integrated with the Vietnam Tourism Application of the National Administration of Tourism. Visitors who install and use the Vietnam Tourism application will be supported to search for safe travel information, information about tourism services, and reflect to the authorities on service quality and management, and many utilities to support purchasing for airline tickets, booking rooms, making electronic payments, etc.
