To preserve and promote the values ​​of cultural heritage, improve the quality of tourism products to serve tourists of the Temple of Literature – Quoc Tu Giam relic site, the Center for Cultural and Scientific Activities of the Temple of Literature – Quoc Tu Giam collaborated with the Designed by Vietnam 2021 Contest with the theme “Awakening Tradition” to offer a separate topic “Designing souvenir products about the Temple of Literature – Quoc Tu Giam”.

TOP25+5 include 25 designs in 5 main areas of the contest and 5 designs of souvenir products about the Temple of Literature – Quoc Tu Giam.

5 designs selected by the jury for finishing stage are Khue Van Cac tea cake by Pham Vu Khanh; “Chieu” Chess set by Nguyen Quoc Duy; Round trip by Luu Nhu Ngoc; Literature by Ho Truong Thanh Truc by; Souvenir stele by Vu Viet Duong.
The designs of souvenirs and gifts are typical of the Temple of Literature – Quoc Tu Giam relic. The results of the contest will be produced by the Center for Cultural and Scientific Activities of the Temple of Literature – Quoc Tu Giam and the Organizing Committee of Vietnam Design Week in collaboration with the authors for use.
Designed by Vietnam 2021 contest with the theme Awakening Traditions have 05 areas: Communication design, Living design, Decor & Object design, Clothing design and Public design. The contest was organized by the Vietnam National Institute of Culture and Arts (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) in collaboration with Ashui.com, ConsMedia Corporation and many professional partners, launched on July 17 and received a total of 183 entries until August 31, 2021.
After nearly a month of evaluation, the jury selected TOP25+5 including 25 designs in 5 main areas of the contest and 5 designs of souvenir products about the Temple of Literature – Quoc Tu Giam. These designs will be officially brought to the finishing stage in October, then will be exhibited, voted for and participated in the final round of the Designed by Vietnam contest taking place at Vietnam Design Week 2021 from November 15 to November 21.
The winning designs can be co-produced into products for use in life with the copyright of the author, and the right to exploit within 2 years belongs to the Contest’s Organizing Committee.
