Art photos and video clips with the theme “Soldiers with a mission to protect peaceful life” are on display at the Exhibition Hall, Vietnam University of Fine Arts, 42 Yet Kieu, Ha Noi. The event is part of a series of cultural and artistic programs directed by the Ministry of Public Security to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the traditional day of the People’s Police force (July 20, 1962 – July 20, 2022).

These are the winning works in the contest of art photos and video clips to propagate and praise the image of police officers and soldiers, who serve the People and die for the country. They are the core force to protect national security, maintain social order and safety, and protect the peaceful and happy life of the people.

 The work “A fulcrum for the people in perilous times” by Doan Quy Nhat Bac won the Special Prize in the Single Photo event.

Regarding the art photo contest with the theme “Soldiers with a mission to protect peaceful life”, the Organizing Committee received 48 single photos and 175 sets of photos by 32 authors working other than the police force and 285 authors in the police force. Regarding video clips, the Organizing Committee received 182 entries.

These entries are diverse in subject matter, bringing clear and rich messages in content, closely following the orientation of the contest criteria. Many role models and humane activities of the People’s Police force have been clearly depicted, leaving deep impressions and emotions on visitors.

In particular, there are many works that are carefully invested in staging, transmitted a profoundly meaningful message to visitors, through which the image of the People’s Police soldier appears realistic and pervasive.

Many works were taken and recorded at the scene of fires and explosions, rescue, criminal pursuits, and crime-solving journeys, through which visitors can feel the hardships and silent sacrifices of the soldiers of the People’s Police, etc.

The exhibition works portray beautiful, realistic and touching image of the People’s Police force: The People’s Police soldiers forget himself to plunge into the sea of ​​fire to regain people’s lives, ready to cross the flood water for rescue, or very humane image of soldiers to help prisoners those who make mistakes write every word by their hand towards good things, image of grassroots police soldiers helping the people harvest, etc.
