Bac Tu Liem District rewards typical cultural families in celebration of Vietnamese Family Day in 2019
Accordingly, activities to be held on the 19th anniversary of Vietnamese Family Day in the area of Bac Tu Liem district:
To focus on propaganda on the “Preserve and promote cultural traditions and good behaviors within the family” theme, step up the propaganda on building Vietnamese character from moral education, family lifestyle; Law on domestic violence prevention and control; The Law on Gender Equality … aiming to equip and raise the awareness of all strata of the family’s position, role and function in personal activities, community and in socio-economic development to building a prosperous, equal, progressive and happy Vietnamese family, contributing to building the capital’s family in the industrialization and modernization era. Strengthen extensive propaganda on mass media and communication activities on Directive No. 49/CT-TW of the Party Central Secretariat on family building in the period of industrialization – modernization country; Decision No. 72/QD -TTg of the Prime Minister on Vietnamese Family Day; Directive No. 36/CT-TU of the Hanoi City Party Committee on strengthening population and family planning in the period of industrialization and modernization; Decision No. 3391/QD-BVHTTDL dated October 1, 2009 approving the “Propagandizing and educating morality and lifestyle in Vietnamese family 2010-2020” project.
To promote the building of cultural families, continue to promote the building of cultural families, focusing on ensuring and improving the quality of the title of Cultural Family. Strictly comply with the registration, commenting and recognition process for this title in accordance with Decree No. 122/2018/ND-CP of the Government stipulating the consideration and awarding of the title of “Cultural Family”, “Cultural Village” , “Culture hamlet”, “Cultural residential group”, and guidance of the City on the implementation of the Decree. Put the criteria of gender equality, non-violent family into consideration for the title of Cultural Family. Ensure the principles of gender equality and domestic violence prevention, strictly prohibit prenatal sex selection, and do not discriminate against families with daughters or monogamous children in order to achieve the target for families with few children, fullness, equality, progress, happiness and sustainability.
To organize the propaganda activities of culture – arts, gymnastics – sports, visual promotion to celebrate the 19th anniversary of Vietnamese Family Day (June 28, 2001 – June 28, 2020). Diversify forms of communication, proactively organize propaganda activities and contents in accordance with the specifics of the units. Organize contests, concerts, propaganda conferences, seminars on family, culture of family behavior and domestic violence prevention and control; The “Sports Family” Contest and “Typical cultural family” festival of Bac Tu Liem district in 2020.
The activities to celebrate the 19th anniversary of Vietnamese Family Day are an opportunity to honor the fine traditional cultural values of the family, enhance the role and responsibility of each family in the Bac Tu Liem district in building a prosperous, equal, progressive and happy family./.
