These are the two units selected by the District Women’s Union to direct the construction of the project “Bright-Green-Clean-Beautiful Cultural House”. On the basis of the existing bright-green-clean-beautiful Cultural House, the entire fence of Kim Quan Cultural House has been painted with 18 mural paintings with an area of ​​over 86.5m2, the cost is more than VND 25 million and Thuong Village Cultural House were painted 08 mural paintings with an area of ​​more than 40m2, the cost of implementation was VND 10 million. The mural paintings have bright colors; the content reflects many different topics such as the historical and cultural traditions of the homeland; propagate to protect the environment; local labor, production and cultural and sports activities, etc. The murals at the Cultural Houses both beautify the community space of each locality and contribute to replacing old walls that are peeling, discolored, mossy and completely eradicating the illegal collection of waste.

In particular, the entire budget for the implementation of mural murals was made by the grassroots Women’s Union and members. In order to promote the effectiveness of the model, the Women’s Union of Kim Quan village – Yen Vien commune and the Women’s Union of Thuong village – Duong Ha commune have assigned local women’s officers and members to regularly clean the area. Culture; take care of flowers and ornamental plants on the premises and manage, protect and maintain the facilities of the Cultural House, etc.

These are two models of practical significance selected by the Gia Lam District Women’s Union for implementation in 2021 and will draw experience to continue to deploy and replicate more Bright-Green-Clean-Beautiful Cultural Houses in 22 communes and towns throughout the district in order to contribute to cheering and encouraging people to come together to have a sense of jointly building build a growing homeland and entrust in it the aspirations of a peaceful and bright new life.
