The Party Congress of the Department of Culture and Sports in the term of 2020-2025, is responsible for reviewing the implementation of the Resolution of the Congress of the Provincial Party Committee for the term 2015-2020.

The Congress is responsible for reviewing the implementation of the Resolution of the Party Congress of the Department of Culture and Sports for the term 2015 – 2020; deciding on the objectives, directions, tasks and solutions to build and develop the cause of Hanoi Culture and Sports in the period 2020 – 2025; discussing and contributing ideas to drafting documents of the 13th Congress of the Party and 13th Congress of the Party Committee of the City Agencies; elect the Executive Committee of Party Committee of the Department of Culture and Sports for the term 2020 – 2025 and elect the delegation to attend the 13th Congress of the Party Committee of the City Agencies.

With the motto “Solidarity – Democracy – Discipline – Creation – Development”, the Congress will orient all levels of Party committees, departments, divisions and units under the Department and all officials, party members and workers of Culture and Sports of the Capital to be determined to emulate and strive to successfully complete the tasks to “Build a clean and strong Party Committee; promote solidarity, democracy, innovation and creativity; improve the effectiveness of state management, preserve and exploit the cultural values of Thang Long – Hanoi, promote the development of the cultural industry; maintain the leading position in sports with high achievements, proactively integrate, exchange and organize cultural and sports events of international stature; promote building a healthy cultural environment, building an elegant and civilized Hanoi”.
