Ca Tru is a gem of Vietnamese music with a long history, distinct and special meaning, related with festivals, customs, beliefs, literature, music, thoughts, and Vietnamese philosophy of life. Hanoi is the country’s major Ca Tru center. Ca Tru has made significant attempts to restore this art form since it is designated by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage in need of urgent protection.

The Ca Tru Art Foster Class is an opportunity for artisans, singers, and musicians to exchange, learn, exchange, and share experiences in Ca Tru performing art while also contributing to the development of traditional music and enriching the district’s cultural and spiritual life.
