The campaign selects artistic and literary creation that have ideological and artistic value. Thereby, we can remind the glorious tradition as well as arouse revolutionary heroism, contributing to fostering patriotic feelings and applying lessons learned to the construction, development and protection of Vietnam’s capital; The campaign also upholds and honors ethical and traditional values that are suitable for the modern life of the people of the Capital today.
This is also an opportunity to propagate and educate political thoughts, historical and cultural traditions; fostering and promoting the love of the country, the will to self-reliance and the spirit of national solidarity in the process of renovation and international integration; contribute to consolidating and fostering the people’s trust in the Party, State and socialist regime.
The campaign to compose literary and artistic works with the theme of praising the victory “Hanoi – Dien Bien Phu in the air” (The campaign) which is for professional and amateur writers and artists of 09 specialized associations under the Hanoi Union of Literature and Arts.
The artworks participating in the contest include 09 literary and artistic genres, which are presented in Vietnamese or translated into Vietnamese. Specifically: Literature (Poetry, Short Stories, Novels); Music (song); Photography (single photo, set photo); Fine Arts (Painting, Sculpture); Theater (Cheo, Drama, Cai Luong); Cinema (films, documentaries); Dance (Poetry – dance, Drama – dance); Folk art (research and collections on Hanoi past and present); Architecture (architectures, urban planning, …).

The artworks in the contest are new creations, not yet never participated in any contest, never won an award at any level and there is no dispute about copyright of works and authors.
After the artworks participating have won the prize, in case there is a dispute about copyright and the competent authority recognizes the winning artwork belonging to another author or with the contribution of a co-author, prizes will be forfeited by the Organizers.
The Organizing Committee of the Campaign to receive artworks from October 2022 to the end of November 30, 2022. Artworks participating in the Campaign should be sent to: Office of the Hanoi Union of Literature and Arts – 19 Hang Buom, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi.
The Organizing Committee is expected to have a total of 17 prizes for all kinds of art works, including 01 Special Prize, 01 First Prize, 02 Second Prizes, 03 Third Prizes, 10 Consolation Prizes. The closing and awarding ceremony of the contest is expected to take place in December 2022./.
