The election of members of the 15th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 term is an event of great political significance for the entire Party, people and armed forces in 2021.
Implementing the plan of the Election Commission of Hanoi City, the Election Commission of Cau Giay District, the entire political system of the district has been involved with a high sense of responsibility. The implementation of the election of National Assembly deputies and People’s Council deputies at all levels for the term 2021-2026 in the district is organized strictly, methodically and with quality, closely following the guiding spirit of the central government and the city, especially the direction and implementation of consultation, professional training, and communication, etc. In which, the Culture and Information Sector of Cau Giay district has implemented its communication and visual promotion about the election on schedule, ensuring the requirements set forth.
The District Culture and Information Office has coordinated with the Justice Department to develop a directory “Electing members of the 15th National Assembly and the People’s Councils at all levels for the term 2021-2026” to communicate the law on elections on the electronic portal of the district and link to the directory “Learning about the law on election of National Assembly and People’s Council deputies of the City’s legal information, dissemination and education page. As of April 24, 2021, 50 news and communication articles for the election have been compiled on the district web portal and 8 ward radio stations. Contents of news and articles reflect the provisions of the law related to elections, candidates and voters; the process of taking steps to negotiate; activities of the District Election Commission and the District Information and Culture Department instructed the People’s Committees of wards to visually decorate at the headquarters of the Ward People’s Committee, the House of Culture, the roads in the area… The Center for Culture, Information, Sports and Tourism of the district implements visual communication at the headquarters of the District Party Committee, the headquarters of the People’s Council- People’s Committee of the district and the main streets in the district; organize exchange activities, club activities, poetry contests, thematic talks, book exhibitions on achievements of the National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels over time (in line with the development of the COVID-19 pandemic situation)…
Up to now, the whole district has decorated 68 slogans in high-traffic areas, 102 bannerols, 422 banners, 2,142 red flags, colored flags, etc. 8/8 wards carry out communication on the system of loudspeaker with a frequency of twice a day (15 minutes/ time); built and decorated 45 communication posters in central areas of the ward and high-traffic areas. Dich Vong Ward pasted 350 election communication leaflets in residential areas.
The decoration of visual communication and promotion has contributed to creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere among officials and people of all strata in Cau Giay district towards the great national festival.
