This Mid Autumn festival 2021 has been taking place in the complicated context of Covid-19 disease. Many localities in the entire country are under the state of being locked down, millions of children are staying at home to be safe in the fight against Covid-19 disease. This year Mid Autumn festival no longer hear boisterous drum beats, as well as see no lanterns lighting at the tiny streets’ corners. The joyful, animated image of a Mid Autumn festival night is still far from the children’s dreams at every corner nationwide. Understanding and sharing the factual situation with them, the Central Council of Teenagers and the Municipal Council of Teenagers together with Ha Noi Teenager Palace have collaborated to organize the Mid Autumn Festival 2021 with the theme “Dream-lighting lanterns”.
Boisterous, joyful Mid Autumn festival night brings happinesses to many kids all over the country.
On this occasion, Ha Noi Youth Union and Ha Noi Municipal Council of Teenagers have paid visits and given 1,320 gifts, worth of 450 million dongs to children at: Thanh Oai Save Handicapped Children Centre; disadvantaged worker families working at the industrial parks of Thach That – Quoc Oai, Quang Minh (Me Linh district), Phu Nghia (Chuong My district); children being treated at the Centrel acupuncture hospital, the National burn hospital and other areas… Likewise, the Youth Unions and the Councils of Teenager of 30 districts and towns in the whole city have also done the same in favour of the disadvantaged children living within the districts’ area.
