This year’s competition attracts more than 200 athletes from 10 mountainous communes and schools in Ha Noi City. Participants take part in competitions in 5 categories: Fell running, crossbow, stick pushing, volleyball and tug-of-war.

The sports festival takes place with the spirit of health – solidarity – honesty. In the competitions, there are a great number of people participating the cheering for the athletes, creating a vibrant and lively atmosphere. Thanks to the competitions, athletes have chances to participate in physical training and sports competitions, exchanging experience, raising awareness about sports. Simultaneously, the movement of sports practice will also be promoted in ethnic minority groups, contributing to strengthening the solidarity among peoples.
Athletes take part in stick pushing competition
At the end of the sports competition, the organizers award first, second and third prizes to collectives and individuals with high achievements; at the same time choosing the excellent athletes to participate in ethnic minority sports competitions in mountainous communes and ethnic minority boarding schools nationwide in the coming time.
