In the implementation of the programme to introduce Vietnamese goods to the consumers, to boost trade and stabilize prices, the Department of Trade and Industry of Ha Noi has developed and carried out a number of programmes, notably the holding of Vietnamese goods fair in service of the Rooster lunar year’ Tet festival – 2017, including 5 Vietnamese goods fairs, 01 Tet bazzar, 22 Vietnamese market sessions, 05 Vietnamese goods weeks, 190 mobile sale trips to districts, export processing zones and industrial parks. It has also collaborated with the People’s Committees of districts and towns to set up 60 Spring flower selling points in the urban area, and Son La goods week in Ha Noi. The Steering Committees of districts and towns have coordinated with the Departments, branches and businesses to organize Vietnamese goods fairs, Spring flower bazzars and goods transportation visits to the areas from from the central. Actively propagandizing to bring Vietnamese consumer goods to Vietnamese people.

 With the close and comprehensive guidances of all-level Steering Committees and the involvement of the entrepreneurs, in the 1st quarter of 2017, the campaign of “Vietnamese people consume Vietnamese goods” has made viral effects, step by step building the Vietnamese consuming culture in general and Ha Noi people in particular. The businessess have actively responded to the drive, by wya of proactively transforming into advance technology, applying managing sciences, saving indirect costs so as to raise goods quality, diversifying product samples, lowering producing costs, placing importance to customercaring, product marketing and promotion, consumer protection.
