Recognizing mobile film show as one of the significant and essential activities in the community’s cultural life, for the past years, Ha Noi film Production and Cinematography has unceasingly restructured itself with regard to the contents as well as means of operation, organizing a series of film shows in light of political purposes and meeting an ever more rapidly demand for cultural and art enjoyment among the public.

In order for the movie shows to further develop, making it truely a propagandizing tool of the Party, the Paty Cell together with its Directorate has constantly generalized among the entire Party members, civil servants, staff and labors on the political importance of this task, thus making all of them fully aware of the roles and responsibilities in fulfilling their duties at the working places. The Party Cell has also mapped out plans and directives to encourage the film showing teams’ members to proactively and closely associate themselves with localities, in securing support and assistance from the administration at all levels and the local people, so as to effectively hold movie shows in celebration of the major public holidays of the country and Ha Noi; and under which greater emphasis is be placed on remote areas, ethnic minorities, underdeveloped rural areas, inhouse ethnic school, Caring Centre for Meritous People, Centre for Social Patronage, industrial parks,.. Particularly, in responding to the multilevel Party Congresses heading for the XVI th Municipal Party Congress for 2015-2020 term,  Ha Noi film Production and Cinematography has been in coordination with the district Cultural Departments and Cultural Houses, Party Committees and Party Cells at all levels in Ha Noi to effectively conduct a number of film shows with the varying themes and substances, such as the revolutionary history of Viet Nam, late President Ho Chi Minh, country and people of Viet Nam,.. Up to 30 August 2015, 215 shows have been made, attracting a number of 46.280 audience arrivals.  As a follow up, a plan for another round of film shows will be continuously carried out in celebration of  the XVI th Municipal Party Congress for 2015-2020 term in anticipation of the XVIth  National Party.

At present, Ha Noi film Production and Cinematography owns 6 mobile film showing teams, 2 cinemas (namely Dai Dong – Ha Dong and September 2nd  – SonTay); 39 technical staff and workers. One of the Centre’ advantages is that it’s Party Cell has a considerable number of 22 members,  which meets once a month with almost specialized work under discussion have come to concensus. As a result, when implemented, with the exemplary Party members doing first, everyone is willing to follow suit. Apart from the above, imbued with profession-loving hearts, in the process of performing their movie showing duty, they have also succeeded in doing public relations work. By actively learning and acquiring the realistic needs of art appreciation among the public, a great number of films suitable to their tastes have been selected to be shown. Its civil servants and workers have also unceasingly trained themselves to improve their technical expertises in maintaining the cine-projectors and equipments in order to meet the common requirements. The contents of shown movies are rich and diversified, including musics and songs, news reels, cartoons for children, feature films. Some of the movie teams often incorporate the showing of news film or feature film in advance of the official one with the aim of conveying the guidelines and policies of the State and Party, awareness of environmental protection, traffic safety, drug prevention, family planning, poverty alleviation among the audience, by which encouraging them to get involved enthusiatically in the labour and production, striving to build a life of happiness and wealth, upkeeping the political security and social order. In the meantime, some others organize radiobroadcasting programmes on the  propaganda of “learn and act after the ethical example of Ho Chi Minh”, or the defence of  maritime and island sovereignty which have been well received by the large viewers. The Centre has actively cooperated with Ha Noi museum to show newsmovies on the Party, Uncle Ho. The display of objects in parallel with promotional images has brought about high propaganda effectivenesses. Nowadays, amidst an overwhelm of widespread mass media, the transmission of information, arts and culture to the people through means of mobile movie show is yet in fashion as it used to be. Desiring to cater better services to the public, Ha Noi film Production and Cinematography has continuously strengthened its management, boosted investment and technological renovation, enhanced film advertisment with a view to meeting the viewers’needs as well as fulfilling the political assignment. The Centre has managed to equip almost the mobile showing teams with digital cine-projectors instead of the cine-projector of 35 mm celluloid film and video projector previously used. As the result, if before there was only 1-2 feature films and 1 news movie to be shown, now it can go ahead with 60 celluloid feature films and news film, cartoon film for children with the contents, sound and pictures of higher quality. Yet, out of 6 mobile film showing teams, there are only 3 of them being equipped with facilities-carrying vehicles while the rest has to hire. According to Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung, Deputy Party Cell Secretary: “The job of film showing is extremely a hardship, at times it starts from 3-4pm of the previous day until 1-2am the following day to be back home. Even during the sunburning day, the film workers keep working hard to set up gears for the outdoor evening show. For many occassions, it rains, they have to wait until it stops to go on with the show”. Even though, due to quite low incomes, their lives are really suffering. Under the guiding thoughts of the Centre’ Party Cell, the work of emulation and incentives should be well implemented, so as the inspection, control of duty quality and observance of job disciplines. By doing so, it would be able to render time encouragement to the workers and to keep them more dedicated to their jobs.

The sharing of responsibilities within the entire members at Ha Noi film Production and Cinematography has brought up deserving outcomes. The Centre’s Party Cell has been constantly recognized as “strong and clean one” with 100 per cent party members obtaining the title of good task accomplishment. For the three consecutive years (2012-2013-2014), The Centre has been awarded Banners of Emulation and Certificates of credit by Ha Noi People’s Committee and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. In 2015, It has received B prize from the Party Central Committee for Propaganda and Education in rcognition of the creation and promotion of works of literature, press arts titled “ Learn and act after the ethical example of Ho Chi Minh”.
