After 5 day heatedly competing, the national beach handball championships 2018 officially closed with the championship belonging to Ho Chi Minh city’ men team and so did Ha Noi’s women team after having defeated Ho Chi Minh city’s team at the final encounter.

The national beach handball championships 2018 took place at Doi duong park, Phan thiet city (Binh Thuan province) from 19 – 25 May, with the participation of over 100 athletes belonging to 5 handball male teams and another 5  female teams from various provinces and cities in the whole country.

Closing the tournament, Ho Chi Minh select men team won outstandingly the championship. The runner-up was the handball team of the 10th District – Ho Chi Minh city. Defeating Ho Chi Minh team, Ha Noi women team took the championship,  and Ho Chi Minh city team followed as runner-up.
According to the Organizing Committee, thanks to the meticulous preparations in terms of player forces, the tournament’s quality step by step was being raised. The competition was participated by the strong teams coming from the localities  the handball movement steadily developed like Ha Noi, Ho Chi Minh, Binh Dinh,.. The tournament had brought great sensational excitement to spectators.
It was a real chance for the Organizing Committee to select new and good players to add to the national select handball team in preparation for international competitions and gradually to further improve the operational and organizational profession to be able to hold  the coming international tournaments in Viet Nam.
