According to Mr. Hoang Duc Hanh – Deputy Director of Hanoi Department of Health, districts, towns in the City are conducting capacity reviews, developing plans to implement vaccination programs, striving for injecting 200,000 vaccine doses/day in the City. If the vaccination against the Covid-19 pandemic is completed to 70% of the population, along with the implementation of pandemic prevention and control according to the message “5K”, Hanoi City will prevent and control the Covid-19 pandemic in the City.
Previously, through 3 rounds of vaccine distribution, Hanoi city received and completed injecting 132 thousand doses of vaccine. On June 23, Hanoi city continued to receive 20,000 doses, this number of vaccines will be vaccinated as soon as possible.
Mr. Hoang Duc Hanh – Deputy Director of Hanoi Department of Health also said: Hanoi city has entered the 10th day without new cases outside the community. Up to now, the City has only 3 districts: Long Bien, Dong Anh and Soc Son, with cases less than 14 days old. From April 29 to now, Hanoi City has 130 cases being treated at 3 hospitals: Bac Thang Long Hospital, Duc Giang General Hospital, and Thanh Nhan Hospital.
Mr. Hoang Duc Hanh – Deputy Director of Hanoi Department of Health said: The outbreaks in Hanoi city have been controlled. However, pandemics in other localities such as Ho Chi Minh City, Bac Ninh City, Bac Giang City, Da Nang City… are still very complicated, so Hanoi city is still at high risk and needs to be careful, not subjective or negligent.
In the coming time, Hanoi city will still promote propaganda and raise the sense of responsibility for pandemic prevention and control among officials, party members, people, at all levels, from the city to the grassroots, especially for the community Covid-19 teams. At the same time, it is necessary to widely propagate the long-term measure of Covid-19 pandemic prevention and control as “5K + vaccine” so that people understand and are willing to join hands with the City’s Covid-19 vaccination programs in the upcoming time.
