Taking place on April 14, the National Youth Shooting Championship 2021 this year attracted a large number of participants, up to nearly 200 athletes from 13 localities across the country, including People’s Public Security, Dak Lak, Dong Nai, Hanoi, Ha Tinh, Hai Duong, Hai Phong, Army, Quang Nam, Vinh Phuc, Quang Ninh, HCMC, Thanh Hoa.

Gunner, Bui Thuy Thu Thuy (Hanoi) broke the record in the women’s 25m pistol event.

After 5 days of competition, up to 5 young national records were broken. These are remarkable achievements for young shooters, who are considered as the hopes of Vietnam Shooting in the future. In particular, in the women’s 25m pistol event, gunner Bui Thuy Thu Thuy (Hanoi) broke the record with a record of 576 points, thereby winning gold in this content.

By the end of April 18, Hanoi’s gunmen had won a total of 6 gold medals, 6 silver medals and 6 bronze medals, ranked third, after the Army and Ho Chi Minh City.
The National Youth Shooting Championship 2021 will take place at the Hanoi National Sports Training Center from April 14 to April 20. This year’s event is organized as part of the plan to find promising young faces, to replace the veteran shooters of the National Shooting Team, towards the 31st SEA Games and also international arenas such as the Asian Games or the Olympic Games.
