Strictly complying with the direction of the Prime Minister and the City on strengthening the work of ensuring safety in Covid-19 prevention and control during the New Year and the Lunar New Year 2021.
Further strengthening propaganda and mobilization of people to take measures to prevent and control the pandemic according to the message “5K”, which recommends to strictly wear masks when going out and not gather people and that cases of chronic diseases, people at high risk and the elderly do not go out when not really needed; to make medical reports according to regulations, and visit the medical facilities when there are signs of cough, fever, difficulty breathing, or pneumonia for timely guidance on handling.
City People’s Committee requests Department of Health ensures fast and timely handling of pandemic situations in the city; closely monitor the pandemic in the community, are always ready to respond quickly to information for early detection and quick search for “traces”, investigate, verify, and zone out in time to prevent the pathogens from spreading to the community, strengthen the inspection and supervision of medical examination and treatment facilities in the city to ensure pandemic prevention safety according to regulations of the Ministry of Health; resolutely stop operations of medical examination and treatment facilities in the city that fail to ensure safety for pandemic prevention and control, control Covid-19 infection in medical examination and treatment establishments; expand SARS-CoV-2-tested subjects such as those with cough, fever, unexplained dyspnea, severe conditions, emergency pneumonia at hospitals.
It is required to closely coordinate with the management units of the isolated areas to monitor, supervise and test in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Health; resolutely not let the pandemic spread in quarantine facilities and from quarantine facilities to the community, direct district and commune health units to closely coordinate with the police force, local authorities to closely monitor and supervise isolators in civil isolation areas, at home and people who are released from the concentrated isolation period in accordance with regulations and guidance of the Ministry of Health, sufficiently prepare materials, chemicals and equipment to meet the anti-pandemic demand when the pandemic occurs locally.

The High Command of the Capital coordinates with the Department of Health and the People’s Committee of districts and towns to strictly manage the quarantine areas according to regulations.
The Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs presides over and coordinates with the People’s Committees of districts and towns to inspect and supervise pandemic prevention and control at all aged care facilities and facilities of nurturing and taking care of people with meritorious services, detoxification facilities, and vocational training institutions in the city.
People’s Committees of districts and towns direct functional forces and management agencies to strengthen inspection, promptly and strictly handle illegal entries in the area, strengthen checking, reminding and handling violations of pandemic prevention, especially compliance with wearing masks in public places, requiring service establishments, factories and construction sites to strictly implement measures to ensure pandemic prevention safety according to regulations, strengthen the management of concentrated quarantine areas in the area, hotels, accommodation establishments to prevent cross-contamination of the pandemic in quarantine areas.
