With the sacred feelings of each Vietnamese person in the historic autumn days, the art program “Historic Autumn” has a combination of passionate and profound feelings about the country to re-enact the great journey of the nation through unique art repertoires.
Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong said that the program belongs to a series of cultural and artistic activities aimed at propagating great victories in the cause of struggle for national liberation and reunification as well as in national building, protection and development, affirming the great merits and contributions of the entire Party, people and army and the valuable help of international friends over the past 76 years. Not only that, but this is also one of the cultural and artistic activities of practical significance, contributing to enriching the spiritual life of the people in the context of the complicated development of the COVID-19.
The special art program “Historic Autumn” consists of 4 chapters: “August flaming autumn”, “Ba Dinh with historic autumn”, “Reunited country” and “Today’s Vietnam – Autumn spirit”. The art program is like a tragic but gentle epic and full of poetry with revolutionary songs ““Cờ Việt Minh”; “Mười chín tháng tám”; “Nam Bộ kháng chiến”; “Đoàn vệ quốc quân”; “Ca ngợi Hồ Chủ Tịch”; “Màu hoa đỏ”; “Người Hà Nội”; “Đất nước trọn niềm vui”; “Khát vọng”; “Tổ quốc tôi chưa đẹp thế bao giờ”…elaborately choreographed and rich in emotion.
The program is directed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ta Quang Dong – Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism in terms of content and Elite artist Quynh Trang in terms of art. People’s Artist Tran Binh wrote the script and acted as the director of the program. The well-known artists such as People’s Artist Quoc Hung, singer My Linh, Tung Duong, Pham Thu Ha, Xuan Hao, Viet Danh, Thanh Thanh, Hue Thuong, Phuong Mai, Dang Long, Trung Kien, with Oplus, Time and Phuong Nam bands participated in the program.
In the context of the complicated development of the COVID-19, the participating units and artists all strictly comply with pandemic prevention and control requirements such as testing, strictly implementing 5K, striving to complete the task to bring the audiences with a unique and meaningful art program.
