Over the past few years, the swimming training movement has flourished in Hanoi, particularly in Hoang Mai District. Annually, the city organizes numerous competitions for all age groups to foster a swimming culture, encouraging people to regularly learn and train in swimming for health enhancement.

Participating in the Hanoi City Middle and Senior Age Swimming Championship 2023, held from July 12 to July 14, 2023, the delegation of athletes from Hoang Mai District splendidly secured 3 gold medals, 1 silver medal, and 2 bronze medals.

This annual competition serves as a wholesome and beneficial sporting event, especially for individuals in the middle and senior age groups. The championship acts as a platform to assess, discover, and select outstanding athletes to represent Hanoi in the National Traditional Swimming Competition for the middle and senior age groups.

This year’s Swimming Championship is organized to align with the campaign ‘The Entire Population Enhances Physical Fitness Following the Exemplary Great Uncle Ho,’ promoting awareness of the benefits of swimming training, emphasizing safety skills in aquatic environments, and contributing to building a healthy lifestyle of ‘living joyfully, living healthily, living meaningfully’ for middle and senior-aged individuals.
