From now until the election of members to the 15th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 term (May 23, 2021), Hoang Mai district deploys a peak campaign of communication on elections and Covid-19 pandemic prevention and control, with diverse content and forms suitable for each subject.

Specifically, for the district level, in addition to continuing to communicate the standards of National Assembly members and People’s Council members at all levels, the rights and obligations of candidates, the rights and obligations of voters, and regulations on voting and election procedure under the guidance of the City authority, Hoang Mai district promoted decoration and promotion at the headquarters of the District People’s Committee and main streets in the area with clusters of large panels and red flags; organized 2 convoys to parade and promote the election of members to the National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels.
Along with that, the wards in the district will also enhance decoration and promotion in the area, especially at the polling stations; promote communication on the radio system of the wards; departments, agencies and mass organizations to communicate about the election through social networks such as Facebook, Zalo, organize conferences, seminars, etc. Notably, each ward organizes 2-3 delegations mobile communication vehicles, thereby creating an exciting atmosphere so that election day is truly a festival of the whole people.

Hoang Mai district has 11 constituencies with 190 polling stations, 289,117 voters. The ward with the most polling stations is Hoang Liet (28 areas), the ward with the least is Tran Phu (5 districts). The steps on the election are strictly, closely, openly, democratically implemented by all levels, branches and units in the district, ensuring in accordance with regulations. In particular, the communication is carried out regularly and continuously, with diverse contents and forms suitable for each subject.
Regarding the prevention and control of the Covid-19 pandemic, up to now, all levels and branches from districts to grassroots have strengthened measures to prevent and control the pandemic. The district has issued 68 guiding documents, regularly strengthening the Steering Committee for pandemic prevention and control; activating 694 community Covid groups established with 2,206 participants, closely monitoring and supporting functional units in updating movement of people in the area. The district authorities have also fined 105 cases of violations on pandemic prevention and control with a total amount of more than VND 280 million.

Previously, from March 2021 to the end of April 30, 2021, Hoang Mai district has launched a peak (phase 1) of communication on the election of members to the National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels, in which, opened a communication website about the election on the district’s web portal. The District People’s Committee has also issued 2 plans and 8 official documents directing the organization of communication activities before, during and after the election of members to the 15th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 term. After May 23, 2021, the district will focus on information and communication about the election results; on the results of emulation movements; and atmosphere of trust and excitement of the people about the success of the election, etc.
