Special art program “Singing the spring songs to Uncle Ho”

Being a part of cultural and artistic activities series for the political purposes, this program aims to extensively propagate and educate all classes of people so that they are aware of President Ho Chi Minh’s great dedication to Vietnam’s revolution cause; show the infinite respect and gratitude to Him; and contribute to deepening and effectively..

Being a part of cultural and artistic activities series for the political purposes, this program aims to extensively propagate and educate all classes of people so that they are aware of President Ho Chi Minh’s great dedication to Vietnam’s revolution cause; show the infinite respect and gratitude to Him; and contribute to deepening and effectively implementing the motto of studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and lifestyle.

The program was divided into three parts: He is Ho Chi Minh, Flowers in Uncle Ho’s garden, and Singing the spring songs to Uncle Ho. The songs praise President Ho Chi Minh’s life, career, and glorious revolutionary life, honor his great dedication to the Party’s revolutionary cause and Vietnam’s national liberation, the communist and international workers’ movement, express the characteristics of each region, and show great gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh, on behalf of ethnic groups.

The audience may have a chance to enjoy a series of widespread classical songs about President Ho Chi Minh performed by many famous artists such as: Singing in Pac Bo forest (Composed by Nguyen Tai Tue), Praising President Ho (Composed by Van Cao), Missing Uncle Ho at a Night in Truong Son (Composed by Tran Chung), Uncle Ho is still with us (Composed by Huy Thuc), He is Ho Chi Minh (Composed by Ewan MacColl), The Central region misses Uncle Ho (Composed by Thuan Yen), Uncle Ho with his immense love (Composed by Thuan Yen), Singing from a city named after Uncle Ho (Composed by Cao Viet Bach), Trees remind us of Uncle Ho (Composed by Do Nhuan – Do Trung Phong), We watch You sleeping (Composed by Nguyen Dang Nuoc), Smile in May (Composed by Xuan Thuy), Follow in Uncle Ho’s footsteps (Composed by Trong Dai), Singing the spring songs to Uncle Ho (Composed by Nguyen Van Thuong), Singing about Uncle Ho (Composed by Doan Bong)…

The program will take place at Hanoi Opera House and broadcast live on channel VTV1 at 8:10 p.m on May 17.
