Accordingly, implementing the Directive 06/CT-TTg dated January 31, 2020, of the Prime Minister; the Official Letter No. 396/CD-BVHTTDL dated February 3, 2020, of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; the Official Letter No. 358/UBND-KGVX of People’s Committee of Hanoi City on strengthening prevention and control of acute respiratory infections in festive activities, historical-cultural relics, famous landscapes; Thang Long – Hanoi Heritage Conservation Center will suspend activities to welcome visitors at the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long and Co Loa Relic area from 3 pm on February 4, 2020. The Center will be announced the time of reopening later as directed by the City People’s Committee. According to the Director, the Temple of Literature’s Center for Scientific and Cultural Activities, Mr. Le Xuan Kieu, the unit will also stop selling tickets from 3pm on 4 February. Specifically, the Temple of Literature announced: “Implementing the direction of Hanoi People’s Committee on prevention and control of acute respiratory infections, we have temporarily stopped activities to welcome visitors. The time starts from 3 pm on February 4, 2020”.

Also according to the notice from the Management Board of Hoa Lo Prison Relic, to proactively implement the prevention of epidemic, the Management Board of Hoa Lo Prison Relic has suspended activities to welcome visitors from 3 pm on February 4 and will notify the time to welcome guests back based on the actual situation. During this period, the Management Board of Hoa Lo Prison Relic will disinfect the relic areas according to the guidance of the Ministry of Health; assign leaders and officials to answer the visitors’ comments. Also, the Management Board promotes communication on the prevention of epidemics and regularly updates the demonstration to take timely measures.

Particularly for cultural facilities, people can freely visit and serve spiritual needs. However, local Management Boards should encourage people to limit their concentration in crowded places.
