After more than 10 days of reopening, at the special national monument of Temple of Literature, there is a greater number of visitors, especially on weekends.

It is known that on weekdays after reopening, the Temple of Literature relic welcomes about 100-150 visitors/day. As noted by the reporter on the last weekend, at the relic, the atmosphere began to bustle with visitors again, in which the popular subjects are young people, students, etc.

The visitors are mainly young people and students.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hai (in Thanh Tri ward, Hoang Mai district) said that because the epidemic has basically been controlled, she and her family visited some cultural, historical and scenic spots of the capital and the last point of the day is the Temple of Literature. She hopes that my children will be comfortable after a period of social distancing, in order to re-catch up on better study and high achievement in school.

However, the number of visitors still decreased significantly compared to the time before the epidemic.

“Whenever I go, I can see a signboard reminding me of epidemic prevention, although I am quite assured that the epidemic is basically under control, I do not ignore it. I still remind the whole family to wear a mask in the crowded, if the space is empty, we will pay attention to the distance over 2m”- Ms. Hai furthermore said.

Sprinkling of a few foreign tourists to visit.

According to the Mr. Le Xuan Kieu – Director of the Center for Scientific and Cultural Activities of the Temple of Literature, to serve Vietnamese people – the main visitors in the current period, and respond to the “Vietnamese people travel Vietnam” program launched by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the center has adjusted its plans towards heritage education programs as well as focused on improving the quality of welcoming visitors. In addition, the research and development of souvenir products from environmentally friendly materials, associated with the characteristics of the relic, coordinate to form quality heritage tours, towards the sustainable development in the coming time.

The area of Van Lake was cleaned up for new activities.

The Lake Van area has also started to restart with traditional performing arts activities and preparation for heritage education activities with the aim of developing Van Lake as a tourist attraction in and abroad, becoming a place for cultural exchange for the people of the capital, connecting and exploiting the relic with the outside area, the subdivisions of the relic (Noi Tu area, Giam garden, Van Lake).

Van Lake is not only a destination for heritage education activities, but promises to be a great “check in” spot for young people.
