Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc hoped that what Viet Nam’s U23 national football team has achieved as well as their stuff and will would continue to be furthered and spreaded out to all fields and areas of the entire country.
His letter reads:
The win of Viet NamU23 national football team as the runner-up title in Asia is a historic record of Viet Nam sports, which has demonstrated the stuff and will ofthe Vietnamese people, has been a pride of the entire country, especially the young generation.
On 28th January 2018, we have solemnly organized the welcome ceremony in favour of the U23 football team in Ha Noi capital and widely televised it at every corners of the country. Millions of people with flags and flower in their hands have joyfully welcomed and escorted the team from the Noi Bai airport to the city town. The people of the city have greeted with their warmest welcome, showed their deepest sentiments, spirits of unity, national pride, which have moved thoudands of millions of Vietnamese people’s hearts.
On behalf of the government of the socialist Republic of Viet Nam, I highly praised Ha Noi capital’s municipal party committee, administration and people; the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Viet Nam Football Federation; the Ministry of Public Police and press and media agencies for having organized and parcipated in the welcome ceremony of U23 football team in national festive atmosphere and secure and safe manner.
I sincerely hope that what Viet Nam’s U23 national football team has achieved as well as their stuff and will would continue to be furthered and spreaded out to all fields and areas of the entire country, hence making contribution to bringing our cause of construction and national defence on the path of renovation, integration and development.
