2020 is 70th aniversary of F1 – the most prestigious motorsport racing tournament on the planet, derived from the European Motorbike Grand Prix in the 1920s and 1930s. However, with the endless passion of fans, the race quickly spread to North America, South America and then to Asia, making F1 become the No. 1 racing worldwide.

F1 in the early days.

In Asia, China, Malaysia and Singapore held the first F1 races in 2008. The United Arab Emirates began hosting in 2009. Vietnam registered on the F1 map with it first race in 2020.

F1 Hanoi was expected to take place from April 3 – 5, 2020. But due to the Covid-19 outbreak in many countries around the world, the F1 Vietnam Grand Prix race was postponed to ensure the safety of the people, visitors, racing teams and associated units.

According to the organizers, the first race in 2020 is scheduled to take place in Austria from July 3 to 5. According to this racing schedule, F1 Hanoi can be held again by November 2020.
