Audiences who love cinema and martial arts are very interested in the information that in early May, Vietnam’s world-famous kick boxer Cung Le will return to his country to introduce a new movie project with the participation of many national and international famous artists.

Cung Le is not strange to Vietnamese audiences. He was born in 1972 and trained Taekwondo at age 10. From the first course, Cung Le maintained his passion for mixed martial arts and tried his hand at a variety of subjects such as Wrestling, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Sanshou, Muay Thai, etc.

At the age of adulthood and as a professional kick boxer in the US, Cung Le has received more than 35 martial arts awards, won the world championship three times. Named the most famous Vietnamese martial artist and “the Asian Nightmare”, Cung Le is regularly invited to participate in such prestigious events as StrikeForce, UFC – the fiercest arena in the world, etc.

With his success, Cung Le is a special guest of the famous sports channels as well as appears on the celebrated martial arts covers.

Along with the career in martial arts, Cung Le is also Hollywood star with many different roles.

In particular, in the movie “Fighting”, Cung Le played Dragon Le, one of the opponents of Channing Tatum. In “Pandorum,” he took on the role of Manh – a Vietnamese man with strong martial artist on the Elysium space ship and starred with Dennis Quaid and Ben Foster, etc.

In 2009, Cung Le was invited to collaborate with Donnie Yen in the Hong Kong film named “Bodyguards and Assassins.” After working together, Donnie Yen has admitted that Cung Le is the strongest opponent he has ever encountered in his acting career.

Later on, Cung Le became a guest in the current American hit TV film series such as “Into The Badlands” and played with the famous actor, Daniel Wu. Then most recently, Cung Le has re-released with Tony Leung Chiu-wai and the production director, Wong Kar Wai in “Europe Raiders” which will be released this year.

In addition to the above projects, Cung Le has also appeared in such big hit movies as Tekken, Dragon Eyes, The Man with the Iron Fists, The Grandmasters (directed by Wang Jia Wei), and starred with Tony Leung Chiu-wai, Zhang Ziyi …).
