Participating in this exhibition, 17 painters have presented more than 30 works focusing on the Mid Autumn theme, which are made from the materials of oil paint, acrylic, Do paper, used paper pastel, plaster.

All the painters are the familiar names belonging to the No. 39 Gallery which are Le Thiet Cuong, Nguyen Quang Thieu, Nguyen Minh Hieu, Tao Linh, Nguyen Quoc Thang, Ngo Thi Binh Nhi, Nguyen Hong Phuong, Vo Luong Nhi, Vuong Linh, Nguyen Minh, Pham Tran Quan, Tran Giang Nam.
Notably, there have been the paintings on display made by 5 kid painters: Nguyen Han Dy (aged 10), Nguyen Quoc Hung (13), Nguyen Vuong Bao Han (4), Nguyen Vuong Bao Tran (7) and Le Tram Anh (13).
In recent years now, as usual before the July Mid Autumn festival, the painters of the G39 initiate ideas for organizing an artistic event on this occassion. However, this year is quite differrent due to the Covid-19 disease affection, they have not been able to meet together. So they have to stay home and work alone. But the proposal for the holding of a Mid Autumn occasion’s exhibition keeps going on. It is just a bit differrent, instead of showcasing the paintings in the exhibition room, paintings will be displayed online.

Poet Nguyen Quang Thieu, Chairman of Viet Nam Writers Association, one of the G39 shared everything in present life somehow is associated with COVID-19. The new school year’s inauguration ceremony starts with children standing in front of TV, Iphone, Ipad screens…. and at the present Mid Autumn festival, kids will also enjoy the party under the moonlight within their homes. And the Mid Autumn party used to be prepared with fruits and flowers. G39 painters have the other initiatives of “Pictures party”. “That is the theme of the online exhibition of G39 and kid painters for this year Mid Autumn Festival”.

According to painter Le Thiet Cuong, for the Vietnamese people’s party of all types, only the Mid Autumn feast is prepared and served as special, but not normal as daily party. This is the feast of picutures, arts and beauties. Enjoying this party means sharing of the newest of paintings on the Mid Autumn theme with friends and peers as well as those who love beauties and paintings.
Online exhibition themed “Serving out the feast of pictures ” lasts until end of 30 September 2021.
