The 12th day of the eighth lunar month every year is the anniversary of Vietnamese theatrical profession. This year, the anniversary is September 6, 2022 solar month, or the 12th of the eighth lunar month. Hanoi Drama Theater solemnly held the anniversary of Vietnamese theatrical profession at the theater located at 42, Trang Tien street, Hoan Kiem district.
There were representatives of leaders of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports, the Hanoi Union of Literature and Arts, colleagues from the Central artistic units, the Police, Military, brothers and close friends who have always been with the Theater for many years attended the Ceremony of Vietnam’s theatrical profession anniversary. Before entering the incense offering ceremony, there was a music program performed by the Theater’s artists. These were also special musical gifts to pay homage to the professional theater founders. The baskets of fresh flowers, the trays of cakes and colorful fruits were respectfully offered.

The incense offering ceremony to the theatrical founders was solemnly and respectfully held by the Hanoi Drama Theater to show gratitude to the theatrical founders and an opportunity for later generations of the Drama Theater to express their desire to devote and be more creative for art.
The ceremony of offering incense and remembering the theatrical founders in 2022 was first held by the Hanoi Drama Theater. This was an opportunity for generations of artists and actors of the Theater to gather, meet and exchange their experiences.
On September 6, 2022, a number of other theaters under Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports also held a ceremony to celebrate the anniversary of the theatrical profession.
