Dan Phuong district has directed wards and communes to carry out propaganda about the election in association with the measures to prevent and control the Covid-19 pandemic to ensure the safety of the election with appropriate contents from time to time. Specifically:
In phase 1 from February 2021 to the end of April 2021, the district focuses on organizing conferences to impart the guiding documents made by the Central, City and District authorities on election work; the purpose, significance and importance of the election; the country’s achievements after 35 years of innovation in all fields; results of economic and social development, national defence and security, the building of Party and political system, prevention and control of diseases, especially Covid-19 pandemic of the district and grassroots level…
Particular emphasis is placed on propagating the provisions of the law on elections, deputies’ standards, citizens’ right to vote and to stand for election, the number and structure of deputies, and consultation steps and results of consultative conferences; on propagating the patriotic emulation movements, on struggling and refuting hostile and reactionary forces’ false and distorted information and viewpoints which leads to destroying the election, taking advantage of the election to incite, disrupt, and divide the great unity block of the nation and destroy the Party and the State.

In phase 2 from April to the election day of May 23, 2021, Dan Phuong district focused on propagating the rights and obligations of candidates and voters, and candidates’ profiles and regulations on the election and election day to create an atmosphere of excitement and confidence of voters towards the election day.
In phase 3 after the election day of May 23, 2021, election results will be announced and activities to celebrate the success of the election will be held in the district.
The district has conducted various forms of propaganda through conferences and meetings of branches, associations and unions; held the online contest “Learning about the Law on Election of Deputies to the National Assembly and People’s Councils”; imparted guiding documents and preparation work, and announced the results of the 15th National Assembly and all-level People’s Council deputies for the term 2021-2026. The propaganda and visual promotion work have been paid great attention. At present, the district hung nearly 500 panels, more than 1,140 banners, slogans, pennons, more than 23,000 Party flags, national flags and red flags of all kinds in the central areas, main roads, cultural houses, and voting areas. The Fatherland Front and district unions printed more than 4,000 election propaganda leaflets to distribute to union members and association members.
In addition, the district organized 12 mobile propaganda sessions about the election in association with the measures to prevent and control the Covid-19 pandemic, contributing to raising people’s awareness and responsibility in the pandemic prevention and control. What is more, the propaganda on the mass media has also been enhanced, especially on radio, district web portal, websites of communes, townships, agencies, units, etc., social networking sites, district internal information books. Dan Phuong also launched patriotic emulation movements associated with historical and political events of the country, the capital, the district and grassroots levels. The district also prepared a plan to organize cultural, artistic, and sports activities to celebrate the election results of the 15th National Assembly and all-level People’s Councils deputies for the term 2021-2026 when the pandemic is under good control.
