‘Hanoi City Walk’ are short tours organized by FVH to discover the cultural and historical stories of the thousand-year-old city. This is an event in the series of events of the Vietnam Festival of Creativity & Design 2021, which will take place from November 6 to November 20, in collaboration with RMIT University Vietnam and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), Vietnam National Institute of Culture and Arts Studies (VICAS) and COLAB Vietnam. In 2019, under the old name of Vietnam Festival of Media & Design, the festival focuses on Hanoi and directly supports the city as a new member enrolled in the network of creative cities of UNESCO. From 2020 to now, the organizers decided to expand the festival to the whole country to honor the breakthrough innovation power of Ho Chi Minh City and the heritage of the ancient capital of Hue, besides the culture and creativity of Hanoi.

Established in 1999, Friends of Vietnamese Heritage (FVH) brings together members living in Hanoi with Vietnamese nationality as well as from all over the world. FVH aims to preserve and develop Vietnamese cultural heritage, to cultivate a deep understanding of Vietnamese culture. FVH operates as a non-profit educational initiative.
