Shooting athletes compete at the IX National Sport Games
Taking place from November 23 to 29, the Shooting – The IX National Sport Games had the participation of 260 athletes from 13 units across the country, competing for 50 sets of medals.
Hanoi delegation participated in Shooting with 46 athletes. With a total of 39 medals won, including: 17 gold medals, 15 silver medals, 7 bronze medals, Hanoi won the first place in the whole team. Second place was the Army delegation with 16 gold medals, 14 silver medals, 6 bronze medals, breaking 8 records of the Sport Games. Ho Chi Minh City delegation ranked third with 6 gold medals, 3 silver medals and 9 bronze medals, breaking 4 records of the Sport Games.
More importantly, not only won the first place, but Hanoi Shooting also had 11 records to be broken at this Sport Games. Specifically:
Personally, there are records broken in the following contents: gold medal of women flying saucer Trap (50) of athlete Hoang Thi Tuat, gold medal of 10m individual air pistol of athlete Bui Thuy Thu Thuy, silver medal of women flying saucer trap (50) ) of athlete Nguyen Thi Tuyet Mai, silver medal with 50m rifle in 3 women individual positions of athlete Duong Thi Chuc, silver medal with 50m rifle in 3 men individual positions of athlete Phung Viet Dung, silver medal with women Skeet (50) of athlete Dinh Thi Hong Thuy.
