In particular, Hanoi Karate athletes showed strong growth in team kumite events when on the last day of competition at the Games, Hanoi athletes participated in all 3 team finals and won in 2 events: Kumite men’s group 2 and female team Kumite group 1, thereby bringing home 2 more gold medals for Hanoi karate.

Along with the development of Hanoi Karate, this Sport Games also showed the strong development of localities across the country when Karate was one of the three subjects with the largest number of athletes participating in the competition (futsal has the largest number of athletes registered to participate the most, followed by Athletics, Karate).
