Hanoi won 2 gold medals in Billiards & Snooker at the Ninth National Sports Festival

In the final of the Pool 9 women’s pool, player Doan Thi Ngoc Le (Hanoi) met player Tran Tu Tran (Ba Ria – Vung Tau) and won convincingly 7 – 4 . Player Nguyen Thi Phuong Uyen from Ba Ria – Vung Tau and Bui Xuan Vang from Hanoi tied for third place.

For Snooker 6 red balls men’s singles, it was an internal battle between two players of the Capital, Pham Hoai Nam won 3 – 1 over Pham Hoai Nguyen and became the champion. Third place belonged to Dam Quang Hai from Da Nang and Nguyen Tri Hieu from Binh Duong.

Also on December 1, the second round of the  three-cushion carom was held with the most important match between the number 1 player in Vietnam, Tran Quyet Chien from Ho Chi Minh City, and the rising young talent Bao Phuong Vinh (Binh Duong). Choosing a rather bold hitting style with his confidence, Bao Phuong Vinh had a relatively overwhelming match against Tran Quyet Chien. Immediately after 1 point each player scored from the first turn, Binh Duong’s young player immediately had a series of 3 points and 6 points to take the lead 10 – 1. In the 7th turn, Bao Phuong Vinh continued to score a series of 8 points and became the lead with 20 – 5 against Tran Quyet Chien. In the end, with the score of 40-25, Bao Phuong Vinh excelled in the quarterfinals.
