Ninth National Sport Games: 147 athletes compete in Kurash

Taking place in 3 days (from December 17 to 20), Kurash has the participation of 17 delegations with 147 athletes and 26 coaches. Participating in the management of the tournament are international and national referees. Hanoi delegation has 8 athletes (3 men, 5 women) and 2 coaches.

Athletes competed in 18 weight classes, competing for 18 sets of medals. On the first day of competition, athletes competed in 6 weight classes.

In the women’s under 42 kg weight class, athlete Thuy Thi Phuong Ngan (born 2003) won the Gold Medal. Nguyen Thao Duy (Bac Lieu) won the Silver Medal and Quach Thi Phuong (Thanh Hoa) won the Bronze Medal.

Under 45 kg women’s weight category, the Gold medal belongs to Nguyen Thanh Phu Qui (born in 2003) of the Army Corps. Silver medal belongs to Vo Thi Thuy Duong (Dong Thap). 2 Bronze medals belong to Nguyen Thuy Vy (Soc Trang) and Le Thi Quynh Tuyen (Thanh Hoa).

Under 48 kg women’s weight category, athlete Nguyen Nhac Nhu An (born 2001) of Binh Thuan won the Gold medal. Nguyen Do Nhu Thuy (Army) won the Silver Medal. Huynh Ngoc Hang (Dong Thap) and Le Huong Linh (Binh Duong) won bronze medals.

On the side of male boxers, under 66 kg, Nguyen Quang Vinh (Bac Ninh) won the Gold Medal, Dang Thanh Thuan (Binh Thuan) won the Silver Medal, Dang Van Tuan (Hai Phong) and Nguyen Van Hao (Bronze) Tower) won the Bronze Medal.

In the men’s under 73 kg category, athlete Le Duc Dong (Army) won the Gold Medal, Dang Nhat Duy (Binh Phuoc) won the Silver Medal, Le Hoang Danh (Ben Tre) and Nguyen Nhat Duy (Ho Chi Minh City) Minh) won the bronze medal.

In the men’s under 81 kg category, athlete Bui Thien Hoang (Soc Trang) won the Gold Medal, Son Hoang Dung (Bac Lieu) won the Silver Medal, Nguyen Xuan Hiep (Ho Chi Minh City) and Dao Quoc Dung (Mrs. Ria – Vung Tau) won the bronze medal.

At the end of the first day of competition, the Military Delegation won 3 Gold Medals, 1 Silver Medal, topping the rankings.
