For the past year, Long Bien district has made great efforts in leading and directing the implementation of the Municipal Party Committee’s Programme No. 08-CTr/TU and the District Party Committee’s Programme No. 02-CTr/QU on the acceleration of administrative reforms; in which much emphasis has been placed on  standardizing cardres, civil servants and officers in accordance with every job title, and perfecting the model of e-government at the district and precint levels. As the results, the efficiency and effectiveness in the administration’s operations from the district to grassroots levels have been hightened. 100% of the sections, divisions and units have fully acted on the principle of democratic centralization in executing and carrying out public missions as set workplans and programmes, together with the work of examining, judging and rating cadres, civil servants and officers for commendation on a monthly basis. The “One-stop-shop” units at the district and ward levels  have remained well in order with a high ratio of application papers be processed on time. At the same time, the district has effectively applied the 3 level online public services.

In 2017, Long Bien district will focus on rigid implementation of the leading and executing solutions to public affairs under the Three Accord Principle (Accord with the rules and regulations, with the plans and with the process) and “Five Right Principle” (Right people to do, right things to do, right process, right responsibility and right effectiveness)
